Plan de Desarrollo Comarcal

Durante 14 años se ha llevado a cabo un amplio Plan de Desarrollo Comarcal .

Dentro de este plan se inscribía la puesta en valor de su Patrimonio Cultural,  este trabajo se inició en el período 1996-2001, con los programas LEADER II y TERRA, se ha continuado con el programa LEADER Plus.

El objetivo de este último periodo ha sido preservar la identidad local y apoyar el desarrollo del sector turístico, generando recursos visitables y actividades que complementaran la oferta turística de la zona.

El programa de trabajo ha seguido varias vías:

·  Desarrollo Parque Cultural del Rio Vero, declarado como tal en 2001. Se ha musealizado el Arte Rupestre declarado Patrimonio Mundial por la UNESCO

·  Creación de artículos de la Red de Centros Museísticos

·  Programa de Señalización y Articulación del Patrimonio

·  Programa de Divulgación, Dinamización y Promoción del Patrimonio

El Patrimonio cultural de una región es una muestra de su identidad cultural y es un elemento que lo diferencia y le da un carácter único y singular.

REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN

During 14 years a broad regional development plan has been performed.

In this plan the value of Cultural Heritage was also been included. This project started in the 1996-2001 term , using the LEADER II and TERRA programs , and it's been continued with the LEADER plus program .

The goal of this last term has been to keep the local indentity and support tourism , creating places to visit and activities to complement the touristical offer in the area.

The work program has done :

• Development of river Vero cultural park , stated as one in 2001. The rock art , declared world heritage by the UNESCO , has been converted in a museum piece 

• Creation of items for the Museum Centres Net

• Signposting and interaction of the heritage

• Exposure , dinamization and promotion of the heritage

The cultural heritage of a region is one part of its own cultural identity , it's a distinctive element or trait which gives an unique character .
