El Centro de Desarrollo Integral del Somontano (CEDER Somontano) es una asociación sin ánimo de lucro que se creó en 1995 por iniciativa de la Mancomunidad del Somontano,.
Su objetivo es impulsar el desarrollo del Somontano desde el propio territorio, colaborando con las principales entidades y organizaciones socioeconómicas que trabajan en el ámbito local.
Actualmente integra a 49 organizaciones y asociaciones comprometidas con el desarrollo del territorio, y son representativas en los diversos ámbitos de la realidad social, económica y cultural.
Desde el CEDER Somontano se han realizado diversos proyectos, pero principalmente los Programas LEADER, impulsados por la Comisión Europea , han permitido trabajar desde 1995 y diseñar y gestionar programas adaptados a las necesidades y potencialidades de la comarca.
Los programas LEADER se realizan en toda Europa, lo que permite conectar la comarca del Somontano con la Europa del desarrollo rural.
Ayer nuestra profesora de Economía, Marta Calavera y el profesor de Plástica, Mariano Lisa, visitaron las instalaciones del CEDER Somontano y estuvieron hablando con Paloma Fábregas,coordinadora gerente del mismo.
Paloma acudirá el próximo miércoles 16 de marzo para darnos una charla a los grupos de 1º y 2º de Bachillerato sobre el funcionamiento de los Fondos Europeos, y concretamente sobre el programa LEADER, seguramente con alguna sorpresa.

CEDER SOMONTANO
The Integral Development Center of Somontano is a non profit association created in 1995 by the Somontano grouping of communities .
Its goal is to promote the development of the Somontano from the own territory , collaborating with the main entities and socioeconomical organizations working in the local area.
Currently it includes 49 organizations and associations commited with the territory development and they represent the various fields of social , economical and cultural reality.
The CEDER Somontano has done various projects , but the LEADER programs, promoted by the European Commission , are the main ones that have allowed work since 1995 and design and manage programs adapted to the needs and and potential of the region .
The LEADER programs are done in all parts of Europe , and this allows to connect the Somontano with the rurally developing Europe .
Yesterday our Economics teacher , Marta Calavera , and the Art teacher , Mariano Lisa , visited the CEDER and talked to Paloma Fábregas , coordinator and manager of the CEDER.
Paloma will come the next Wednesday the 16th March to give a talk to 1st and 2nd grades of Bachillerato about how European Funds work and mainly about the LEADER programs , perhaps with some surprises included.
